Doula Services

Doula Collective

Birthjourneys' Doulas have been trained by Jacqueline and certified through DONA International.  These doulas are the Lead Doulas in the Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Volunteer Doula Program and help to train the volunteers that serve the hospital's laboring families.

Their dedication, compassion, and skillful presence during births and breastfeeding represents the Birthjourneys' Mission to serve both as community and as private doulas.

Each of our birthing families is cared for by two of our doulas, with our other doulas available for support when needed.

The $1100 fee includes appropriate prenatal consults prior to birth, in-home labor support when desired by the family, labor support at the hospital, a postpartum visit by the birth doula, and two in-office lactation visits with Jacqueline.
